MODVIS 2026 will be held at the VSS conference venue (the Tradewinds Island Resorts in St. Pete Beach, FL). We hope you will consider participating; we are providing this heads-up concerning the dates so that those of you who are interested can take them into consideration when making travel plans. The organization will be essentially identical to the previous workshops.

MODVIS is a small workshop dedicated to the investigation of formal models in vision research. We intend this to be a very special workshop, one that fills a critical niche. Specifically, we hope that it will:

For the first time, this year abstract submissions will be handled by VSS. (We are still working on how they will be published).
The submission deadline is February 16th. As in the past, post-deadline submissions may be considered, on a space-available basis.
Please note: registration of the presenter will be required for inclusion in the program.
MODVIS offers three tiers of registration:
Discounted: Student/Post-doc/Retiree
Regular: Faculty/Government
Patron: Corporate/Industry
Fees:
Early (Dec 19 - Feb 27): $80/$160/$200
Standard (Feb 28 - Apr 23): $100/$200/$250
Late (Apr 24 - May 14): $125/$250/$300
Fees pay for audio-visual expenses, coffee and snacks, and the VSS satellite fee.
